The Sendspark Chrome Extension gives you three recording options: Camera Only, Screen Only, or Cam + Screen (your camera bubble over your screen). When you record Screen Only or Cam + Screen, you then pick what to share: Chrome Tab, Window, or Entire Screen. Camera Only has nothing to pick, because it captures only your camera.

Recording Options

There are three options to record with the Chrome Extension. The Sendspark recorder toolbar with its recording mode icons Camera Only With this option, you’ll be able to record only your camera. Screen (Screen Only) With this option selected, you’ll be able to record only your screen. Cam + Screen With this option selected, you’ll be able to record your camera over your screen. **⚠ Please note:**The face camera feature in Sendspark is designed to work seamlessly on Chrome. However, there are instances where certain apps with a full-screen mode can override Sendspark’s bubble recording functionality. With each recording option, you can choose a recording type as well, to get your recordings just right!

Recording Types

Once you’ve clicked Camera Only, Screen Only, or Cam + Screen you are almost ready to start. Click Record and a new modal will pop up: Chrome's share window with the Chrome Tab, Window and Entire Screen panes ⚠ Please note: You can’t change any of the sharing options for Camera Only, since we’re only recording your camera. Frequently asked questions

There are three: Camera Only, Screen Only, and Cam + Screen (your camera recorded over your screen). Choose the one that fits the video you want to make.
Chrome Tab records only what’s below the address bar. Window records the whole window of the app you selected. Entire Screen records your entire screen or desktop, including folders and anything else on screen.
When you record with Camera Only, there’s nothing else to capture besides your camera, so the sharing options (Chrome Tab, Window, Entire Screen) don’t apply.
