How to send dynamic videos in Apollo

  1. Finish your Dynamic Video campaign in Sendspark. (New to this? Start with Apollo — Send Static Videos at Scale to build the campaign first.)
  2. In Sendspark, click Share Campaign, find and select Apollo, and copy the code snippet it provides.
  3. In Apollo, go to Emails → Templates and create a new template. Paste the snippet into the template body — it automatically turns into the video thumbnail preview.
  4. Adjust any surrounding text, add a subject line, name the template, and click Save.
  5. In your sequence, open the email step and click Load templates, select the template you created, clone it, and save. Do not paste the raw snippet into the sequence body.
  6. Back in Sendspark, download the campaign CSV file.
  7. In Apollo, go to Contacts → Add contacts → Upload CSV file and import that file. When mapping fields, map the email column (required); the other columns are optional.
