Automatically Generate and Send Videos via SMS with GoHighLevel

Automatically generate a personalized Sendspark video when a contact enters a workflow, save the video link to the contact, and send it automatically via SMS.

🔄 How it works

🛠️ 1. Create a custom field

In GoHighLevel, create a custom contact field to store the Sendspark video URL.
  • Go to Settings → Custom Fields
  • Create a Single Line field
  • Set the object to Contact
  • Give it a name such as Sendspark Video Link
  • Save the field
This field will store the unique video URL generated for each contact.

🏷️ 2. Create the trigger in GoHighLevel

Create the workflow that determines when a video should be generated. For example: Form Submitted → Add Contact Tag You can use any trigger you want. The important part is adding a specific tag that Agente Workflows can detect.

⚡ 3. Generate the Sendspark video

In Agente Workflows:
  1. Create a new workflow.
  2. Use Contact Tag Update as the trigger.
  3. Set the condition to the tag you created.
  4. Add the Create Dynamic Video action.
  5. Select your Sendspark dynamic video campaign.
  6. Map the contact’s information, such as First Name and Email.
  7. Optionally, add a dynamic Background URL.
  8. Save the workflow.
When the tag is added, Sendspark will automatically generate the personalized video.

🔗 4. Send the video link back to GoHighLevel

Once the video is generated, add an Update Contact action. Map the generated Video Link to your custom field: Sendspark Video Link You can also add a second tag, such as SS Outgoing, to indicate that the video is ready to be sent.

📱 5. Automatically send the video via SMS

Create another workflow in GoHighLevel.

Action

Send SMS Write your message and insert the Sendspark Video Link custom field. For example:
Hey! I made this video just for you: [Sendspark Video Link]
GoHighLevel will automatically insert the unique video URL for that contact.

🎯 The result

Once everything is configured: Contact enters workflow → Tag is added → Sendspark generates the video → Video link is saved → SMS is sent automatically The recipient receives the video link, which can automatically display as a thumbnail in the SMS.
