Turn any email address into a personalized background URL using agentic workflows.
This allows you to automatically generate branded or customized video backgrounds based on your contact’s email domain.
⚙️ How It Works
You’ll build a simple workflow with three parts:
1. Trigger your workflow
Start with any trigger, for example:
A meeting booked
A form submission
A new contact created
2. Extract the email domain (Data Cropping)
Click the ➕ between steps and select:
Tool → Data Cropping
In this step:
Select the email field
Configure the cropping to extract everything after the “@”
👉 Example:
dan@sendspark.com → sendspark.com
This will give you a clean domain you can reuse dynamically.
3. Use it in your Dynamic Video Campaign
In your Dynamic Video Campaign step:
Go to the Background URL field
Insert the output from the Data Cropping step
Now your background becomes dynamic based on the email domain.

If your contact is:
john@nike.com→ background could be Nike-themedsarah@shopify.com→ background could be Shopify-themed
This creates a more personalized and relevant video experience automatically.
