How to request a video from anyone

  1. Find your request link. From your Sendspark dashboard, open My Library, click the dropdown arrow, and select Requested Videos.
  2. Copy the link. Click Copy Request Link. Sendspark generates the link and copies it to your clipboard.
  3. Share it anywhere. Paste the link wherever you like so your viewer can click it and record.
  4. Collect the videos. Once someone records a video from your link, it appears automatically under Requested Videos, ready to view, download, or share.
You can drop your request link into the call-to-action on a Sendspark video landing page. When you customize the landing page, toggle on the call-to-action, edit the button text, and paste your video request link into the CTA URL. Now viewers can record a video for you right in the moment by clicking the button.

Brand your request page

On Growth, Plus, and Scale plans, you can make the video request page match your brand instead of using Sendspark’s default branding:
  • Add your name and avatar in My Account (open the avatar dropdown on your dashboard). These show on the request page so the recorder knows who is asking, for example “[Your name] is requesting a video from you.”
  • Add your logo and brand colors under Manage Workspace → Set Global Styles.
You can edit these styles at any time, even after you’ve shared the link.
