If you've been able to record with our Chrome extension without any issues, but suddenly clicking **Record** does nothing, the recording timer stays at **0:00**, and the extension displays a "Permissions Missing" message, it's possible that your operating system has revoked Chrome's permissions.
In many cases, simply re-enabling the permissions isn't enough. A full permissions reset may be required.
Please follow the steps below to reset the permissions:
Open your extension menu and click on Manage Extensions:
Find Sendspark and click on details:
Find the option that says Site Settings:
And finally, click on Reset Permissions.
Now open a new tab and attempt to record a video again.
The system will prompt you to accept the corresponding permissions for both the camera and the microphone
Please be sure to accept them both. Once it's done, click away to close the Chrome extension, reopen it, and everything should be ready.
