Connect AI Apps MCP

Written by Dan Delauretis

Connect Sendspark to your AI assistant (MCP)

You can connect Sendspark to AI assistants that support MCP (Model Context Protocol) — like Claude, ChatGPT, Mistral Le Chat, Perplexity, or Grok — so you can ask about your Dynamic Videos, prospects, and analytics in plain language, right from your assistant.

Heads up — temporary setup.

Right now this connection has to be added manually. We're working on getting Sendspark listed in the official connector marketplaces of the main AI providers. Once that's live, you'll be able to add Sendspark in one click and this manual step won't be needed.

Before you start

✅ An active Sendspark account (an active subscription or a running trial).

✅ An AI assistant that supports custom (remote) MCP connectors (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Mistral Le Chat, Perplexity, Grok).

✅ The Sendspark MCP URL:

https://apiv2.sendspark.com/api/mcp

How to connect

In your AI assistant, add a custom (remote) MCP connector and paste the Sendspark MCP URL above. Your assistant will then open a Sendspark sign-in page — log in and approve access. There are no API keys or tokens to copy, and the connection stays linked to your account until you remove it.

💡 The exact steps differ slightly per provider and change often, so follow their official guide (these stay up to date):

Provider

Official guide

Claude (web & desktop)

Get started with custom connectors using remote MCP

ChatGPT

Developer mode & full MCP connectors (beta)

Mistral Le Chat

Using my MCP connectors with Le Chat

Perplexity

Adding custom remote connectors

Grok (xAI)

Grok connectors

ℹ️ Availability and exact steps vary by provider and plan

For example, ChatGPT custom MCP connectors require Developer Mode on an eligible plan, and Claude's Free plan allows one custom connector. Check the linked guide for current details.

What information your assistant can access

🔒 The connection is read-only — your assistant can look things up but cannot create, edit, or delete anything. It only sees data in the workspaces you belong to (and that are active). Specifically:

Area

What it can read

Workspaces

The workspaces you're a member of and your role in each.

Dynamic Video campaigns

Campaign name, status, settings, and share-page setup (title, message, layout, CTA buttons, calendar).

Prospects

Per prospect: name, email, company, job title, status/processing state, and (for completed ones) the share/embed links and engagement stats.

Prospect status

Detailed per-prospect state — generation/validation steps and why a prospect may be invalid or still processing.

Analytics

Lifetime engagement for a Dynamic Video: visits, plays, CTA clicks, and thumbs-up, plus a visitor breakdown (location, device, watch %). (On the Free plan you'll see the summary totals; the per-visitor breakdown is available on paid plans.)

🚫 It does not access billing details, passwords, other users' private data, or workspaces you're not part of.

Example prompts

💬

  • "List my Sendspark workspaces."

  • "Show the dynamic campaigns in my workspace."

  • "How is my '[campaign name]' dynamic video performing?"

  • "What's the status of the prospect john@acme.com in that campaign?"

Managing or removing access

⚙️ You can disconnect Sendspark at any time from your AI client's connector/MCP settings. Revoking there immediately stops the assistant from accessing your data.

Good to know

ℹ️ Access requires an active workspace (subscription or trial). If a workspace isn't active, its data won't be available through the assistant.
