How to Download Videos in Bulk from Your Dynamic Video Campaign

If you're running a dynamic video campaign and want to download multiple videos at once, this guide will walk you through a simple way to do it using Zapier and a download manager like JDownloader2.

🛠️ What You’ll Need

  • A dynamic video campaign (with non-generated videos)

  • A Zapier account

  • A Google Sheet with headers: email and download link

  • A download manager (e.g. JDownloader2)

✅ Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Set Up a Zapier Webhook

  1. Go to Zapier and create a new Zap.

  2. Trigger → Search for Webhooks by Zapier.

  3. Choose Catch Hook and click Continue.

  4. Copy the Custom Webhook URL Zapier provides.

2. Connect the Webhook in Sendspark

  1. Log into Sendspark.

  2. Navigate to Webhooks from the menu.

  3. Create a new webhook:

    • Paste the Zapier URL.

    • Name it (e.g. Zapier Test).

  4. Click to add events, then select:

    • When a video is created

  5. Choose the appropriate campaign and click Add Campaign.

✅ Your webhook is now connected.

3. Trigger Video Generation

  1. Go to your campaign in Sendspark.

  2. Click Generate and choose a fast rendering option.

  3. Wait for videos to be generated (they’ll be sent to Zapier automatically).

4. Set Up Google Sheets Action in Zapier

  1. Back in Zapier, click Action.

  2. Choose Google Sheets.

  3. Set the event to Create Spreadsheet Row.

  4. Connect your Google account.

  5. Select your Drive and the Google Sheet you prepared.

  6. Choose your worksheet (make sure it has email and download link columns).

5. Map Data Fields

  1. Zapier will now let you map fields:

    • For Email, select the email from your webhook data.

    • For Download Link, look for the high-res or low-res link (depends on your video type):

      • If using a background video, choose the high-res option.

      • If it’s a full-screen face recording, select the lower resolution one.

  2. Click Continue → Test Step to make sure it works.

6. Bulk Download via JDownloader2

  1. Once links are in your Google Sheet:

    • Select and copy the entire column of download links.

  2. Open JDownloader2:

    • It will auto-detect the links and list them.

  3. Click Start Download.

🎉 That’s it! All your video files will begin downloading automatically.

🧠 Notes & Tips

  • Always ensure videos are not generated when connecting the webhook. Zapier won't receive past/generated content.

  • If your download links aren’t showing correctly in Zapier, double-check your webhook payload and sheet structure.

  • JDownloader2 supports batch downloads effortlessly from copied links.
