Stop recording personalized videos... Automatically create videos for each your prospects using Sendspark and Outreach

This guide walks through how to automatically create and send personalized videos in Outreach.io sequences using AI.

To set up this automation, you need...

  • To have Outreach Admin access (to connect the Sendspark Outreach App)

  • To have the Automated Workflow feature enabled in Sendspark. (This is currently in BETA. Please contact us to enable it for your workspace).

Alright, let's dive in!

Step 1: Create Your Video & Email Campaigns

  1. Start by creating your Dynamic Video Campaign in Sendspark

  2. Next, Create your email sequence in Outreach

Step 2: Add Video Placeholders in Outreach Sequence

1. Add Video Placeholder in Outreach

Copy and paste the Sendspark "Dynamic Video Snippet" from Sendspark into your Outreach email template, exactly where you want the video to appear in your email.

  1. In Sendspark, click "Share Campaign" (you need to generate at least one video from your dynamic video campaign to get to this page)

  2. Search for "Outreach" in the modal

  3. Click on "Outreach" and paste directly into your email template
    ​

Now that you have that set up, you need to do one more thing in you Outreach Sequence.

2. Add a "Task" in Outreach

Add a Task to the beginning of your Outreach with a note that says "Create Sendspark Automated Video: [link to your dynamic video] campaign"

  1. We'll use this in the next step to trigger our automation

  2. It's important that you have the link to your dynamic video campaign in Sendspark, so we know which template we should be using for the AI video!

Step 3: Set Up the Full Automation

Now the fun part! Let's set up an automation so that when prospects get added to the Outreach sequence, AI videos automatically get created!

  1. Go to Sendspark Automated Workflows

  2. Create a New Automation

    1. As the Trigger, select "Outreach" and then "New Task"
      ​

    2. Add a condition that the task has a note that contains your dynamic video campaign

    3. Then add a second action for Outreach

      1. Use the option "Get Prospect By ID"
        ​

      2. In the Prospect ID section, use "Prospect" from the New Task Step
        ​

    4. Lastly, add an action for Sendspark

      1. Select "Create Dynamic Video"
        ​

      2. Select the Dynamic Video Campaign you want to use from Sendspark, and map in the fields from Outreach, so you can use them in your videos
        ​

      3. Make sure to map "email," as this is essential for the integration to work properly

      4. Save and close!

So, this is how your whole Sendspark automation should look:

That's it! Hit "Start" to start your automation.

You can now add prospects to your sequences in Outreach, and you'll see dynamic videos start getting created for each person in Sendspark.

Important Note:

Videos will get created as soon as prospects enter the sequence in outreach, but tasks have to be marked as COMPLETED in order for the emails to send automatically.

You can set up a trigger in Outreach if you'd like to automatically move contacts to the next step in a sequence instead of requiring their completion.
