# Permissions missing
> Fix the Sendspark Chrome extension when Record does nothing or the timer stays at 0:00 by resetting your browser's camera and microphone permissions.
If clicking **Record** in the Sendspark Chrome extension suddenly does nothing, the timer stays at **0:00**, and you see a "Permissions Missing" message, your operating system has likely revoked Chrome's camera and microphone access. Re-enabling the permissions is often not enough — a full permissions reset usually fixes it.
