This guide walks you through integrating Sendspark dynamic videos into your Mailchimp email campaigns. Dynamic videos automatically personalize content for each recipient, allowing you to create thousands of customized videos without manual work.

Prerequisites

  • A Sendspark campaign with processed dynamic videos

  • CSV file with contact data uploaded to your campaign

  • Active Mailchimp account with campaign creation access

Step 1: Access Your Sendspark Campaign

  1. Navigate to your Sendspark campaign dashboard

  2. Verify your dynamic videos have been processed successfully

  3. Confirm your CSV contact file has been uploaded

Tip: You can test individual videos by clicking on any contact to preview their personalized video with the selected background.

Step 2: Generate Mailchimp Integration Code

  1. In your Sendspark campaign, locate the "Share Campaign into MailChimp" button

  2. Click the button to generate your integration code

  3. Select Mailchimp from the sharing options

  4. Copy the generated code

Step 3: Add Code to Your Mailchimp Campaign

  1. Open your Mailchimp campaign and navigate to the email builder

  2. In the template editor, drag a Code block to your desired location

  3. Click on the code block to open the editing panel

  4. Paste the Sendspark integration code into the code section

  5. Save your changes

Note: The dynamic video preview won't display correctly in the Mailchimp editor. You'll see the main video placeholder instead of the personalized version with backgrounds. This is normal behavior.

Step 4: Test Your Dynamic Video Email

  1. In your Mailchimp campaign, click "Send a test email"

  2. Enter your email address

  3. Click "Send test"

  4. Check your inbox to verify the dynamic video displays correctly

Final Result

Once delivered, recipients will see their personalized video with the custom background you've configured. The dynamic video will automatically display the content specific to each contact based on your CSV data.

Tip: This integration works seamlessly for large contact lists. Whether you're sending to 10 or 10,000 recipients, each person will receive their personalized video automatically.
