This guide will show you how to create, save, and manage templates for your dynamic video campaigns in Sendspark. Templates help you save time by storing commonly used configurations that you can reuse across multiple campaigns.

Creating Templates from the Templates Menu

The quickest way to create a new template is directly from your templates dashboard:

  1. Navigate to your main menu and select Templates

  2. Click to create a new template

  3. Fill in your template information, including any merge tags you want to use

  4. Click Save when you're finished

  5. Your new template will appear in your templates list

Tip: When adding content to your template, you'll have the option to insert merge tags like ###{{first_name}} to personalize your videos.

Using Existing Templates in Dynamic Video Campaigns

When creating a new dynamic video campaign, you can apply any of your saved templates:

  1. Start creating a new dynamic video campaign

  2. Select your video and proceed to the campaign setup step

  3. Look for the template selector option

  4. Browse through all your available templates and select the one you want to use

Saving Templates from Within a Campaign

You can also create templates while building a campaign:

  1. While setting up your dynamic video campaign, fill in all your content fields (subject line, message, call-to-action, etc.)

  2. Look for the Save as Template option

  3. Give your template a descriptive name

  4. Click save to store the template

Important Requirements for Saving Templates

Note: You must complete all call-to-action fields before you can save a template. This includes:

  • Button text

  • Redirect URL (e.g., sendspark.com/pricing)

If any required fields are incomplete, you'll see the message "Complete call to action fields before saving" and won't be able to save your template until all fields are filled in properly.

Managing Your Templates

All your saved templates will appear in the Templates section of your main menu, where you can:

  • View all existing templates

  • Edit template content

  • Delete templates you no longer need

  • Create new templates from scratch
