# Chrome Extension: Recording Options & Types
> Discover Chrome Extension recording options: face-only, screen-only, or both. Learn to record current tab, app window, or entire
The Sendspark Chrome Extension gives you three recording options: Face (camera only), Screen (screen only), or Both (camera bubble over your screen). When you record Screen or Both, you then pick a recording type: Current Tab, Application Window, or Entire Screen. Cam Only has no recording type to choose because it captures only your camera.

## Recording Options
There are three options to record with the **Chrome Extension**.
**Face (Camera Only)**
With this option, you'll be able to record only your camera.
**Screen (Screen Only)**
With this option selected, you'll be able to record only your screen.
**Both (Cam + Screen)**
With this option selected, you'll be able to record your camera over your screen.
\*\*⚠ Please note:\*\*The face camera feature in Sendspark is designed to work seamlessly on Chrome. However, there are instances where certain apps with a full-screen mode can override Sendspark's bubble recording functionality.
With each recording option, you can choose a recording type as well, to get your recordings just right!

## Recording Types
Once you've clicked on "Face", "Screen", or "Both" you are now almost ready to start. Click on "Record" and a new modal will pop up:
\*\*⚠ Please note:\*\*Cam only - You can't change any of the options for **Cam Only** since we're only recording your camera!
**Current Tab**
This option will only record what's below the address bar.
**Application window**
This option will record the whole application window of the application you've selected
**Entire screen**
This option will record your entire screen/desktop - folders, anything on the screen.

## Frequently asked questions
There are three: Face (camera only), Screen (screen only), and Both (your camera recorded over your screen). Choose the one that fits the video you want to make.
Current Tab records only what's below the address bar. Application Window records the whole window of the app you selected. Entire Screen records your entire screen or desktop, including folders and anything else on screen.
When you record with Cam Only, there's nothing else to capture besides your camera, so the recording-type options (Current Tab, Application Window, Entire Screen) don't apply.
The face camera is designed to work seamlessly on Chrome. In some cases, certain apps running in full-screen mode can override Sendspark's bubble recording functionality.
