# Analytics Update -- Implications for Videos Recorded Before Jan 19, 2022

> Learn how to access Sendspark video analytics data recorded before Jan 19, 2022 after the analytics system update changes.

On January 19, 2022, Sendspark changed how it tracks video engagement, giving you more insight into who watches your videos and their individual sessions. As a result, engagement data from before January 2022 is no longer visible in Sendspark by default. You can still retrieve it: contact support for individual videos, or use **Switch to Legacy Analytics** in the Admin view for all-time totals.

On January 19, 2022 we updated the way that we track video engagement data for Sendspark videos.

The good news is that you now have a lot more insight into WHO is watching videos, and individual viewer sessions.

The bad news is that **video engagement data from before January, 2022 is no longer visible in Sendspark**.

However, you can still access this data:

## For Individual Videos

To see the engagement statistics for individual videos, **please contact us through our support chatbot or [support@sendspark.com](mailto:support@sendspark.com) with the video link**.

We will look up the **Total Visits, Total Plays, Total Likes,**and**Total Clicks** for that video and share them with you.

Please note, we only started tracking Viewer Insights on January 19, 2022, so we will not be able to pull that data for you.

## In the Admin View

To see all-time data for **Total Visits, Total Plays, Total Likes,**and**Total Clicks** in your Admin tab, please click the **Switch to Legacy Analytics** at the top right of your screen.

This will show you the data for the **entire time your Sendspark account has existed**.

However, you might notice some data discrepancies, because we are now tracking data a different way.

Please note, the "total videos" number will stay the same, because that is not affected by the new analytics.
